Description

Variety Origin: Bred by American breeder Roy G. Klehm. First flowered in 1995. Registered with the American Peony Society (APS) in 2003 (breeding number K53-149). A classic variety of the Lactiflora Group.

Core Characteristics: Flowers possess a silvery sheen. Buds exhibit red stripes. Stems are thick, bearing 3 buds per stem, resulting in abundant flowering.

Cultivation Performance: Adaptable to USDA zones 3-8. Prefers full sun to partial shade and loose, well-drained, neutral to slightly acidic soil. Plant in autumn (September-October) with buds covered approximately 5 cm deep. Propagate by division (retain 2-3 buds per division). Apply light fertilizer frequently. Resistant to disease and deer. Good vase life as a cut flower.
