Variety Origin: This variety was jointly developed by Roger Anderson of Wisconsin, USA, and Swenson Gardens. Its official scientific name is Paeonia ‘Majesty’s Star’. It is a herbaceous hybrid peony, a sister variety to ‘Majesty’s Splendor’ from the same series.
Core Characteristics: The flower exhibits a unique “starburst” form. The outer 5-8 petals have shallow lobes and slight ruffles. The inner petals are fewer in number and arranged radially around the center.
Cultivation Performance: Prefers fertile, loose, well-drained, neutral to slightly acidic soil (pH 6.0-7.5). Avoid heavy clay soil and low-lying waterlogged areas.
Majesty’s Star peony is a high-end variety possessing both unique ornamental value and strong cultivation adaptability.
