Variety Origin:Amalia Olson is a classic peony cultivar registered with the American Peony Society (APS), belonging to the Lactiflora Group. It was introduced in 1959 by C. Olson and Nelson in North Dakota, USA, and named after Olson’s mother.

Key Characteristics: The outer petals occasionally display faint red veining on the reverse side, which is not visible from the front, earning it recognition as one of the purest white-flowered peonies. The leaves are biternately compound, a typical characteristic of plants in the genus Paeonia.
