Variety Origin: It is an Itoh hybrid peony (Intersectional Hybrid) bred by American breeders Laning and Steininger. It was officially registered with the American Peony Society (APS) in 2016. It first flowered and began propagation before 2004.
Core Characteristics: The flower opens with a light beige base color overlaid with bright red-purple blushes. The red-purple later fades, leaving only the non-fading red-purple basal flares. Multiple color shades can be present simultaneously during the bloom period, creating a unique gradient effect. Foliage is emerald green with good texture, remaining ornamental throughout the growth cycle. It is sterile, producing no pollen and no seeds.
Cultivation Performance: Strong cold hardiness. Prefers full sun to partial shade. Requires well-drained, loose, fertile, slightly acidic to neutral soil. Grows vigorously with fairly strong tillering ability, reaching maturity quickly. Low maintenance with strong disease resistance.
