Variety Origin: Sunset Flash was bred by American breeder Wissing-Carl G. Klehm in 1965. In 2003, this variety received the Gold Medal from the American Peony Society (APS).
Core Characteristics: Lotus form. The color is bright orange or coral red when first opening, gradually lightening over time, sequentially changing to magenta, light coral, and finally becoming yellowish or ivory white.
Cultivation Performance: Prefers ample sunlight, also tolerates partial shade. Has good environmental adaptability. Suited for planting in loose, fertile, well-drained slightly acidic soil. Grows quickly with high flower yield. Pay attention to root treatment when planting in autumn. In cold winter regions, appropriate winter protection is needed.
