Variety Origin: Garden Treasure is a signature Itoh Peony variety, bred by American breeder Don Hollingsworth. It first flowered in 1973 and was officially registered and introduced in 1984.
Core Characteristics: Petals are thick, flexible, and have a delicate luster. They exhibit excellent weather tolerance and are not easily damaged by wind and rain. Vase life as a cut flower is approximately 9-12 days.
Cultivation Performance: Outstanding stress resistance. Strong cold hardiness. Prefers full sun environments. Suited for deep, loose, fertile, well-drained neutral soil. Avoid heavy clay soil, waterlogging, and low-lying areas.
