Variety Origin: Bred by Swedish breeder Harald Fawkner, registered and introduced in 2009. Breeding number Fawkner seedling# C-84. Parentage is ‘Quitzin’ × ‘Liboria Maas’. It is a tetraploid herbaceous hybrid peony, named after an ancestor of the breeder from the 17th century.
Core Characteristics: Outer petals are large and rounded; inner petals have wavy edges, creating a “flower within a flower” effect. It has very high seed set and pollen viability, making it an excellent breeding parent.
Cultivation Performance: Prefers full sun (6+ hours daily) and loose, well-drained, neutral to slightly acidic soil (pH 6.5-7.0).
