Description

Variety Origin: Bred by American breeder H.P. Sass in 1933. Belongs to the herbaceous peony Lactiflora Group. Named after the ancient Egyptian city of Luxor. Officially registered in 1933. A classic variety for nearly a century.

Core Characteristics: Tall plant height with resilient stems. Foliage is dark green and glossy.

Cultivation Performance: Adaptable to USDA zones 3a-8a (tolerates -37.2°C). Prefers full sun and well-drained, fertile, slightly acidic to neutral soil. Best planted in autumn. Strong stress resistance, requires no staking. Suitable for garden focal points, cut flower production, and landscape planting.
